Students from across Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America are wrapping up their first term in the Center for Maritime Economics and Logistics (MEL) programme. With workshops, skills training, and academic courses, this international cohort is building a foundation for global leadership in maritime economics and logistics.
This week marks the final stretch of the first term for the MEL students, who have spent the past months immersed in developing skills and knowledge to succeed in the global shipping and logistics industries.
Highlights of this term include:
- A practical project management workshop led by MEL alumnus Thomas Chaidas, providing students with real-world insights.
- Specialized skills training sessions designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional application.
As they prepare for the holiday break, students will have the opportunity to reflect on their progress and recharge for the next phase of the programme in 2025.
The MEL programme, hosted at Erasmus University Rotterdam, brings together recent graduates and experienced professionals, offering a unique and globally recognized curriculum that supports career growth in the maritime sector.
