The MEL programme is not subsidized by the government and covers its costs through tuition fees. Therefore, irrespective of nationality or background, all students are subject to the same tuition fee.

Fees Associated with Your Move to the Netherlands

  • Immigration Fee:

The immigration process will handled by the university immigration team. Submitting your immigration documents on time (before the deadline) is a crucial part of your enrollment request. Failure to submit your documents and pay your invoice on time will result in an incomplete enrollment.

For us to start your immigration process, we will need to receive the living fee (which is refundable) as proof that you have sufficient financial means to pay for the relevant costs and support yourself during your entire study period in the Netherlands. The payment of the tuition fee is not sufficient to prove your financial means. EUR (Erasmus University Rotterdam) will no longer accept any bank documents or financiers as financial proof for immigration applications.

Students will receive their refund of the proof of financial fees that they transferred to us, once they open a Dutch bank account.  Please note that we cannot apply for your visa unless we receive the tuition + Immigration + living Fee.
